He was the carthaginian general who fought the Metauro battle, won by the Romans, in San Silvestro plain (207 b.C.).

He was an important italian poet who wrote “Ode to the Metauro” in 1578, when he was visiting some nobles in a nice villa 3 km far away from Ca’Verdeselle.
